Interstate 75/Hopple Street project update
Weekend lane and ramp closures
 
Hamilton County (Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016) – Work on the Interstate 75/Hopple Street project requires the following ramp and lane closures this weekend from 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11 until 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 14:
 
Close three lanes of southbound I-75, beginning with a double lane closure at State Route 562 (Norwood Lateral) to south of the Western Hills Viaduct. Vehicles will be detoured onto SR 562 to I-71. In addition, eastbound I-74 will be reduced to one lane off of southbound I-75.
 
The exit ramp to Hopple Street will be open, but the ramp from Hopple Street to southbound I-75 will be closed. One lane of southbound I-75 will remain open for local access. The ramp from southbound I-75 to Hopple Street will be also be closed from 10 p.m. Saturday until 5 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 13. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the work zone, lane and ramp closures.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
