8.1.2017  -  LineStyle fix for the July 2017 Update!!!
The July 21st 2017 ODOTcadd Standards Update included an update to the ODOT_Linestyles.rsc file. This file was updated to have all pavement marking linestyles represent the physical width of the pavement marking. After a couple of comments we have decided to revert these pavement marking linestyles back to they way they were before this update. There are now new linestyles to represent the physical width of pavement markings. These new linestyles are not used in the pavement marking levels bylevel settings for linestyles so the user will have to switch to these linestyles if they desire the physical width of pavement markings to be shown.
In order to apply these updates follow the steps below.
  1. Ensure the July 21st 2017 ODOTcadd standards have already been installed.
  2. Download the updated files here (ODOT_Linstyles.rsc and ODOT_Levels_General.dgnlib).
  3. Unzip the download inside the Standards folder of the ODOTcadd standards and replace/overwrite the files.
7.21.2017  -  ODOTcadd Standards Update for July, 2017
The July 2017 CADD standards update represents the latest release of the ODOTcadd Standards for MicroStation and GEOPAK V8i (SELECTseries 4). The standards are continuously improved and subject to change with future updates.

The ODOTcadd standards include many of ODOT’s previous ODOTV8istd CADD Standards for MicroStation and GEOPAK with additional newly developed standards for Bentley’s OpenRoads technology; however, there are some new changes that are not backwards compatible with previous releases of ODOT’s CADD Standards and existing projects.  All ODOT projects started with the previously published ODOTV8istd CADD Standards should be completed using those standards.  New ODOT projects should be started using the ODOTcadd Standards with MicroStation and GEOPAK V8i (SELECTseries 4).

For this update, the GEOPAK/PowerGEOPAK related standards for the OpenRoads technology have been updated using the SELECTseries 4 version of the software and are therefore incompatible with GEOPAK/PowerGEOPAK (SELECTseries 3).
The following software versions can be used with the ODOTcadd Standards:
MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 3 and 4)
PowerGEOPAK V8i (SELECTseries 4)
GEOPAK Civil Engineering Suite (SELECTseries 4)
The ODOTcadd Standards are delivered as a single executable file.  They can be installed as a new FULL set of standards or as a quarterly patch update.  The patch install will not work if the currently installed version is not up to date (previous January 2017 CADD Standards installed).
For additional information on setup and configuration of the ODOTcadd Standards please refer to our video tutorial:
