07.17.2015  -  ODOTcadd Standards Update for July, 2015
The July 2015 CADD standards update represents the third release of the ODOTcadd Standards for MicroStation and GEOPAK V8i (SELECTseries 4). The standards are continuously improved and subject to change with future updates.

The ODOTcadd standards include many of ODOT’s previous V8istd CADD Standards for MicroStation and GEOPAK with additional newly developed standards for Bentley’s OpenRoads technology; however, there are some new changes that are not backwards compatible with previous releases of ODOT’s CADD Standards and existing projects. ODOT recommends completing existing projects using the previously published V8istd CADD Standards for (SELECTseries 2). New projects started after January 16, 2015 with MicroStation and GEOPAK (SELECTseries 3) or higher should be started using the new ODOTcadd Standards.

With this update, the GEOPAK/PowerGEOPAK Related standards for the OpenRoads technology have been updated using the SELECTseries 4 version of the software and are therefore incompatible with GEOPAK/PowerGEOPAK (SELECTseries 3).

We are researching the ability to apply a file patching system to the ODOTcadd Standards so a full installation is not required for future updates.

This release supersedes all previous releases of ODOTcadd. If you have previously requested and installed the ODOTcadd Standards, we recommend deleting the entire ODOTcadd folder and reinstalling from scratch.
