CADD Standards Running Updates

Since July 2018 the ODOT CADD Standards have been included in a running update. This means that updates are done on a continuous basis for OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition, MicroStation CONNECT Edition, GEOPAK V8i and MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries 4). Please synchronize the CADD standards often to make sure you have the latest updates.

The OHDOT standards include many of ODOT’s previous ODOTcadd standards for MicroStation and GEOPAK V8i (SELECTseries 4) with additional newly developed standards for Bentley’s CONNECT Edition products; however, there are some changes that are not backwards compatible with previous releases of ODOT’s CADD Standards and existing projects. New projects started with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition should use the new OHDOT Standards.

The ODOTcadd standards include many of ODOT’s previous V8istd standards for MicroStation and GEOPAK with additional newly developed standards for Bentley’s OpenRoads technology; however, there are some changes that are not backwards compatible with previous releases of ODOT’s CADD Standards and existing projects. Current and older projects that use MicroStation and GEOPAK V8i (SELECTseries 4) should use the ODOTcadd Standards.
